It's looking like Lake Pacific with most of the SSE swell missing the coast, it is only in the 1ft range. The winds are light SW early and are forecast to stay offshore from the WSW all day. The tide is dropping to a low at 9.20am, coming back into a high at 3.45pm. Ripple riding today at the best with the Tweed Coast, D'bah, the far N end beachies and TOS picking up a touch more of the S swell, but take a board with lots of foam.
John Charlton spreads his time between the Gold & Sunshine Coasts. He’s been surfing this area for many a year and is totally in tune with all the different breaks and how the varying swell and wind patterns affect this wave plentiful region.
