Lunchtime Update....The winds are from the S at around 10 knots and the SSE swell is in the 2 up to 3ft range. The tide is coming in to a high at 9.45am, dropping to a low at 3.20pm. The points have some nice small ones on the dropping tide and are the pick with D'bah and TOS having more size. Swell is still a bit straight for the beachies.
John Charlton spreads his time between the Gold & Sunshine Coasts. He’s been surfing this area for many a year and is totally in tune with all the different breaks and how the varying swell and wind patterns affect this wave plentiful region.
An E swell of up to 1 metre. Take care on the outgoing tide this afternoon. Swim only between the flags with Council Lifeguards.

Surfing Mums meet here!
Surfing mums is a network of women who surf and are mums (of course), but what sets them apart is that they still want to surf as much as we did before they had kids. Its not about how well you surf, or if you are a long boarder, short boarder, bodyboarder, body surfer or learning to surf. It's about getting wet and having fun!
