The SSE swell is in the 3ft range with it bigger on the Tweed Coast and the winds are fresh SSW early. They're forecast to go strong SSE later in the morning. The tide is coming in to a high at 8.50am, dropping to a low at 2.30pm. The points have some nice ones on the incoming tide and are the pick early with D'bah and TOS having more size in the solid 4ft range as the tide rises. Swell is a bit straight for the beachies.
John Charlton spreads his time between the Gold & Sunshine Coasts. He’s been surfing this area for many a year and is totally in tune with all the different breaks and how the varying swell and wind patterns affect this wave plentiful region.
An E swell of up to 1 metre. Take care on the outgoing tide this afternoon. Swim only between the flags with Council Lifeguards.
