A very small S swell in the Bay 0-1ft on the sets. The wind is W and very clean early. The wind is forecast to be offshore from the SW later. The open beaches and swell magnets will be the pick today.
The NSW lifesaving patrol season ended on Sunday 28 April, however Salt Resort main beach is still patrolled by lifeguards 7 days a week. Byron Main Beach will be patrolled by lifeguards 7 days a week until 9 June, 2013.
Please do not take any risks during the off-season period. No Flags = No Swim! The majority of beach patrols will again commence on the first day of the September School Holidays.

Surfing Mums meet here!
Surfing mums is a network of women who surf and are mums (of course), but what sets them apart is that they still want to surf as much as we did before they had kids. Its not about how well you surf, or if you are a long boarder, short boarder, bodyboarder, body surfer or learning to surf. It's about getting wet and having fun!
