Bumpy conditions in the Bay this morning with up to 1ft of swell from the SSE and the wind is from the W early, with winds forecast to swing S. Try the open beaches and S swell magnets for the best waves today.
The NSW lifesaving patrol season ended on Sunday 28 April, however Salt Resort main beach is still patrolled by lifeguards 7 days a week. Byron Main Beach will be patrolled by lifeguards 7 days a week until 9 June, 2013.
Please do not take any risks during the off-season period. No Flags = No Swim! The majority of beach patrols will again commence on the first day of the September School Holidays.
