A very small S swell in the Bay up to 1ft on the sets. The wind is W and semi clean early. The wind is forecast to be offshore from the NW later. The open beaches and N protected corners will be best today.
The NSW lifesaving patrol season ended on Sunday 28 April, however Salt Resort main beach is still patrolled by lifeguards 7 days a week. Byron Main Beach will be patrolled by lifeguards 7 days a week until 9 June, 2013.
Please do not take any risks during the off-season period. No Flags = No Swim! The majority of beach patrols will again commence on the first day of the September School Holidays.
