SSE swell 5-6ft @ 11 seconds. WSW winds 13 knots. Cross shore winds on open beaches making messy conditions with rough surf. 6ft rogue sets not worth surfing. Protected southern corners offering 3-4ft of more manageable surf yet struggling to find much quality. It might be worth a look at the southern corners as tide fills up.
The NSW lifesaving patrol season ended on Sunday 28 April, however Nobby’s and Bar Beach are still patrolled by council lifeguards 7 days a week.
Please do not take any risks during the off-season period. No Flags = No Swim! The majority of beach patrols will again commence on the first day of the September School Holidays.
