E swell 4-6ft+ @ 9 seconds on open beaches. SW winds 10 knots. Solid E swell still pushing in and most locations are not handling the masses of water moving inshore though it has settled a touch.SE wind swell present as well. Protected southern points offering the best waves with more manageable conditions. Worth getting in the car and having a look at the options but it is for the experienced surfers only.
The NSW lifesaving patrol season ended on Sunday 28 April, however Nobby’s and Bar Beach are still patrolled by council lifeguards 7 days a week.
Please do not take any risks during the off-season period. No Flags = No Swim! The majority of beach patrols will again commence on the first day of the September School Holidays.
