The swell is smaller from the SSE with S winds early and it is in the 3-4ft range on the more open beaches, 2-3ft in the more sheltered corners. The winds are forecast to stay from the S later and the tide is dropping to a low at 11am. The protected S stretches and points are the pick with the S winds up early.
The NSW lifesaving patrol season ended on Sunday 28 April, however the following beaches at Soldiers and Shelley Beach are still patrolled by council lifeguards 7 days a week until the end of May.
Please do not take any risks during the off-season period. No Flags = No Swim! The majority of beach patrols will again commence on the first day of the September School Holidays.
