The swell is still solid from the SSE with SSW winds early and it is in the 3-5ft range. The winds are forecast to go strong S later and it's low tide just after 10am. The S corners, reefs and points are the pick with a lot of water moving around on the open beaches. It is smaller in those S corners with the S swell direction.
The NSW lifesaving patrol season ended on Sunday 28 April, however the following beaches at Soldiers and Shelley Beach are still patrolled by council lifeguards 7 days a week until the end of May.
Please do not take any risks during the off-season period. No Flags = No Swim! The majority of beach patrols will again commence on the first day of the September School Holidays.
