Morning Report:Waves 2-4ft, swell SSE at 10 secs,wind WSW-SE-E 5-10 knots. The NSW lifesaving patrol season ended on Wednesday 25 April, however the following beaches at Dee Why and Freshwater are still patrolled by council lifeguards 7 days a week until the end of May. Council lifeguards at Manly patrol over the entire off-season period 7 days a week. Please do not take any risks during the winter period. No Flags = No Swim! The majority of beach patrols will again commence on the first day of the September School Holidays. S swell 2 - 4ft south facing and exposed open beaches, easing during the day. WIND: Early WSW 10 to 15 knots tending SE to NE 5 to 10 knots during the afternoon.

Friday
S swell 2 – 3ft max south facing beaches early, 2ft open beaches, fading during the day. WIND: WNW 5 to 15 knots tending light N/NW during the day.

Saturday
New S groundswell up to 2 - 3ft most exposed south facing beaches, grading to 2ft or less elsewhere. WIND: WSW 10 to 15 knots tending SSE 5 to 10 knots during the afternoon.

Sunday
S swell around 2ft south facing beaches, 1 – 2ft open beaches. WIND: SW 5 to 10 knots early tending SSW during the morning and light SE into the afternoon.
