Morning Report: Waves 3-4ft+ Swell SSE @10 secs ,winds WSW-SW-S 13-21 knots. Plenty breaking but size has eased a few notches, direction SSE, size 3ft open beaches, 4ft S facing with a few better sets still lurking, winds WSW early with conditions reasonable but again edging SW>S into the day,protected S ends still
getting the best of it but S facing beaches uncrowded if a little raw.
The NSW lifesaving patrol season ended on Sunday 28 April, however the following beaches at Dee Why and Freshwater are still patrolled by council lifeguards 7 days a week until the end of May. Council lifeguards at Manly patrol over the entire off-season period 7 days a week. Please do not take any risks during the winter period. No Flags = No Swim! The majority of beach patrols will again commence on the first day of the September School Holidays.
