The swell peaked in the stormy 5-6ft range late last night but is easing rapidly this morning. There's still some 4-5ft sets about, but they are inconsistent and not that powerful for their size. Wave heights are in the 3-5ft range, but it is mostly 3-4ft from the E. The wind is light SW early, but there is still a bump in the swell and it is a relatively short period swell in the 8-9 second period. There's peaky waves on the beaches, Elouera the pick. The Point has a wave, but nothing special.
The NSW lifesaving patrol season ended on Sunday 28 April, however North Cronulla and Cronulla are still patrolled by council lifeguards 7 days a week.
Please do not take any risks during the off-season period. No Flags = No Swim! The majority of beach patrols will again commence on the first day of the September School Holidays.
