Surf Report Sunshine Coast QLD 5:58am 09/02/2010
Swell size: 4-6ft ESE
A lot cleaner conditions along the open beaches again this morning with a solid 4-6ft of ESE swell and light SSW winds. There are some thumping beach breaks early on high tide, but the points are still the best value on the dropping tide at Moffats, Pt Cartwright, Alex and Noosa with fun waves in all the Bays. Check out the latest Coastalwatch forecast.

Beach Report
Sunshine Coast
09/02/2010
Dangerous conditions with up to 2 metres of swell, an outgoing tide this morning and unstable inshore conditions expected with strong flash rip activity at most sites. This will be more evident in gutters along the open beaches. Beware of heavy dumping waves breaking on the banks especially at low tide. Take the time to read any warning signage & follow all instructions given by the Council Lifeguards. Remember for your safety always swim between the RED &YELLOW flags. NO FLAGS = NO SWIM.

Surfing Mums meet here! Surfing mums is a network of women who surf and are mums (of course), but what sets them apart is that they still want to surf as much as we did before they had kids. Its not about how well you surf, or if you are a long boarder, short boarder, bodyboarder, body surfer or learning to surf. It's about getting wet and having fun!
