Looking like a lake this morning with tiny, clean conditions with a SSE swell that is flat to 1ft. Light WSW winds early that are forecast to be offshore from the WSW all day. The tide is dropping to a low at 9.20am, coming to a high at 3.35pm. It's ripple riding only with a board with lots of volume and a good imagination on the more open beaches.
John Charlton spreads his time between the Gold & Sunshine Coasts. Heβs been surfing this area for many a year and is totally in tune with all the different breaks and how the varying swell and wind patterns affect this wave plentiful region.
An E swell of up to 1 metre, another great Autumn beach day. Take care. All major Sunshine Coast beaches will be patrolled by lifeguards from 7.30am untill 4.30 pm. Take care and follow any warning signs and follow any directions given by Lifeguards. Remember for your safety always swim only between the RED &YELLOW flags. Ensure you swim when Lifeguards and Lifesavers are on duty and don't swim after hours.
NO FLAGS = NO SWIM.

Surfing Mums meet here!
Surfing mums is a network of women who surf and are mums (of course), but what sets them apart is that they still want to surf as much as we did before they had kids. Its not about how well you surf, or if you are a long boarder, short boarder, bodyboarder, body surfer or learning to surf. It's about getting wet and having fun!
