For The Joy of Beachbreaks
Report and photos by Dan Wyer
A typical summer's pattern has fallen into place over the past week in the south west with morning SE winds followed by fresh afternoon seabreezes. The swell has been generally small with a couple of moderate sized pulses. Tuesday the 22nd saw a rise in SW swell with exposed reefs and beachies dishing up sets in the 6ft range. Winds were a little suspect early from the SSE making for some S'ly drift across surface conditions. By mid morning winds had straightened into an ESE'ly direction making for some clean pumping waves across exposed breaks in the southwest.
