COASTALWATCH Bringing the surf to you
Extra Sydney Updates - 4 October

Sydney Eastern Suburbs Report courtesy Frothers.com.au

After small waves last week that lead to flatness by the Friday, we were lucky enough to get that little bump Saturday morning before a southerly kicked in hard and made a mess of things. That wind controlled the long weekend though to Tuesday, dropping temps to winter standards and forcing us to hunt down jeans and jumpers from storage again!

At least there have been waves and messy peaks at all the eastern beaches, although with the change in weather pattern crowds were down dramatically. Things are turning around however, and as we speak lighter winds are returning from the north. Hopefully, the swell won’t diminish too much for the rest of the week.
