Stand out days arrived mid-week from Monday right through until Friday as a typical summer pattern fell into place with clean offshore conditions in the mornings followed by afternoon seabreezes. The swell never got huge, with Monday through until Wednesday delivering waves in the three-to-four foot range, though longer-period ground swell on Tuesday pushed up a few inconsistent, bigger sets.
There were plenty of options to spread the busy summer crowds; with the mid-sized swell, pretty much everywhere along the exposed west coast had a wave. Perth and Mandurah however struggled with Surf Beach and Trigg the only saviours for surfers.
Thursday and Friday were small but fun with waves in the one-to-two foot range coupled with moderate, offshore, east-notheasterly winds through the mornings. Exposed swell-magnets were the pick.
