COASTALWATCH Bringing the surf to you
D’Bah Warmup Sessions

Video by Craig Halstead
Report by John Charlton

After a couple of days of very squally conditions, heavy rain and howling southerly winds, the low pressure system that was causing all the fuss tracked off to the southeast and Wednesday morning was looking good. The rain stopped, the skies cleared and the wind was light offshore from the south-southwest. The swell was in the three foot plus range with the odd four foot set, and there was plenty of push behind it.

The local pros are all at home tuning up for the contest season ahead and there were competitors for next week’s Billabong World Pro Junior mixing it up in a very busy D’bah morning session. Craig Halstead was on the beach capturing the action.
