Gold Coast beaches closed by GCCC Lifeguards
Fri. August 24, 9:06am Gold Coast beaches are closed today (Friday 24) and tomorrow (Sat. 25) for swimming due to gail force winds and big seas. Lifeguards are continuing monitoring and will update tonight or tomorrow morning if beaches are to open for swimming. Due to the high seas warning for experience surfers only on southern points.
