Surf Report Info

Region: Lennox Head Beach to Evans Head

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

It's very similar to yesterday but even cleaner with an East swell with sets in the 2ft range on the open beaches this morning very light West winds early. Best at the open beaches early then later in the Southern corners. Stronger SE winds are forecast later this afternoon. There have been lots of shark sightings at the Ballina Shire beaches so check it out before you go. High tide is at 6.03am and low is at 12.16am.
