Surf Report Info

Region: Lennox Head Beach to Evans Head

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Pretty Good

It's a bit bigger today on the sets but you will have to be patient as there are some long lulls due to the long range swell we are seeing but when they come it's 3-4ft on the sets and clean with a West wind early. The winds are l expected to get stronger from the South later this Morning so early is best at the Southern protected corners. . Low tide is at 6.27am this morning and the high is at 12.36pm this afternoon.
