The swell is bigger than yesterday but conditions are lumpy and bumpy this morning with SE winds early and 4ft waves on the sets from the SSE. The winds are predicted to strengthen from the SE later today. Try the Southern protected corners for the cleanest faces today.

Forecast for Monday 22 September until midnight
Winds: Southeasterly 10 to 15 knots, reaching up to 20 knots north of Yamba in the morning.
Seas: Around 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres north of Yamba.
Swell: South to southeasterly 1.5 to 2.5 metres. Caution: Deceptively powerful surf conditions in the morning are expected to be hazardous for coastal activities such as crossing bars by boat and rock fishing.
