Surf Report Sydneyby Ben Horvath
3/09/2014 3:36 PM | Report
Arvo update - Still very very windy, but the swell seems to of topped out at 6-8ft plus on open south facing. -Earlier report -Bondi is a white out with whitewash extending out to sea. Ben Buckler is a spray show. There goes the neighbourhood and the banks. Howling 30 - 40 knot SW/S winds and a wild and woolly 6-8ft storm swell this morning rendering most conventional surf spots unrideable. It is just too windy to contemplate carrying your surfboard let alone taking off. Lurline Bay and Coogee are the only spots worth considering, but again paddling in the wind and taking off is an issue. Maybe it will settle a little later - I will update around lunch.
