Surf Report Info

Region: Bondi Beach to Maroubra

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Average

Late morning update - Some changes to report since my morning report for sure. NNE wind has kicked, tide has dropped and Sth swell has kicked with solid 3ft sets now on the Mid to Sth Bondi stretch.Tama and Nth Bra 2-3ft now too - Earlier report -Pretty small and full on the early high tide. The wind is light offshore NW and the waves are 1-2ft from a SSE swell @ 7 to 10 seconds. In summation there's a couple small waves for the super keen at Sth Bondi, Tama and Nth Maroubra, but it is pretty small. Should improve a little on the dropping tide, but then the NE seabreeze will no doubt kick up later on. Bondi and Tama will be most protected from the NE breeze.
