Surf Report Info

Region: Bondi Beach to Maroubra

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Average

Lunchtime update - Freshening NNW winds and increasing clod on the agenda this afternoon. Swells still up to 2ft and kinda surfable, but it is getting pretty small and weak now. - Earlier report -Great start to the day on the Eastern Suburbs beaches again with sunny skies, light, offshore NW winds and still plenty of rideable, little 2ft waves about. Truth is there's even the odd 2ft plus set from the SSE lingering at south magnets like Bondi, and the banks look to be recovering slowly. Mid to Sth Bondi has a few little ones - and it will be offshore all day. Tama and Nth Maroubra are the other surfable options today.
