Surf Report Info

Region: Brunswick Heads to Byron Bay - The Pass

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Average

Fun 2ft clean waves on the sets inside the Bay and bigger 3-4ft waves on the open beaches with WSW winds early giving us clean conditions this morning. The wind will stay light and variable all day so conditions should be good all day. The swell is predicted to drop off a little around lunchtime. Todays high tide is at 5.20pm. Low tide is at 10.56.am and the following incoming tide will improve the waves in general. Try the open beaches early for bigger waves or inside the Bay for small clean waves.
