There's small surf in the Bay this morning with lumpy bumpy waves in the 2ft range and N winds. The wind is expected to strengthen from the N and then later swing NW. Try the Northern protected corners all day for the cleanest conditions.

Winds: North to northwesterly 15 to 25 knots shifting southwesterly 20 to 25 knots in the evening. Winds possibly reaching up to 35 knots offshore in the south tonight.
Seas: 1 to 2 metres, increasing to 2 to 3 metres during the morning.
Swell: Southeasterly 1.5 metres, tending easterly 1.5 metres around midday. Weather: The chance of thunderstorms south of Yamba from early this afternoon, extending throughout during this evening.
