Surf Report Info

Region: Brunswick Heads to Byron Bay - The Pass

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Poor

Only tiny semi clean waves in the 0-1ft range from the SSE in the Bay this morning with light WSW winds. It's a lot bigger on the open beaches and clean. The winds will strengthen from the North later in the afternoon. Early is best at the open beaches then later try the Northern protected corners. High tide is at 7.11am this morning and low is at 12.58pm.
