Surf Report Info

Region: Cronulla - Wanda to Cronulla

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Average

The solid ENE swell that peaked in the 6ft plus range yesterday has eased considerably overnight. There are still plenty of waves about, but we are talking 3-4ft max now. Windy Point, Cronulla Point, Sth Cron and The Alley are your best options, as per yesterday. Winds are forecast to be out of the southern quadrant all day. Right now the wind is slightly west of south at SSW. The beaches arepretty much a straight close out mess. For LIVE Surf Cams Ad Free on any device upgrade to Coastalwatch PLUS today.
