Surf Report Info

Region: Cronulla - Wanda to Cronulla

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Pretty Good

Sunny, light offshore W winds and up to a metre of south swell this Monday morning. Worth an early paddle on the beaches for sure. There's plenty 2-3ft waves, however one thing I did notice over the weekend was how the banks are not as defined as the week before last. That is - last week's onshores two swells and rain moved some sand and took the edge of the quality banks that had shaped up. Anyway, still waves, but bank quality is so so. Wanda/Hills, Midway and Elouera the pick. NE seabreezes forecast after lunch.
