Surf Report Info

Region: Cronulla - Wanda to Cronulla

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Pretty Good

Lunchtime /arvo update - Still plenty of clean, fun waves about on all the beaches. Winds offshore W, swells a solid 3ft. Get wet. - Earlier report - Good conditions again this morning with a peaky mix of south and NE swell combining to deliver 3-4ft corners and runners. At present the offshore NW wind is making for some clean, hollow waves on the morning low. The tide will rush in and we should see some fun waves all morning. Wanda, Midway, Elouera and The Wall best options. The wind is forecast to freshen up from the NW/N and then tend SW and get quite strong.

...... Check out the Father's Day Special on Coastalwatch. A gift to stoke every surfing dad.
