Surf Report Sydneyby Ben Horvath

There goes the neighbourhood and the banks. Howling 30 - 40 knot SW/S winds and a wild and woolly 6-8ft storm swell this morning rendering most conventional surf spots unrideable. It is just too windy to contemplate carrying your surfboard let alone taking off. The Point and Sth Cronulla are the only options. The Point is smaller in the 4-6ft range, but again paddling in the wind and taking off is an issue. Maybe it will settle a little later - I will update around lunch.
