Surf Report Info

Region: Cronulla - Wanda to Cronulla

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Poor

Arvo update - Very wet and ugly beachside this afternoon. 1-3ft of E and Sth swell. Onshore SE winds. Yuk. - Earlier report - Pretty ugly conditions on the beach this morning with coastal showers and persistent SSE winds. There's nowhere to really hide from the wind. Sth ends are only 1ft or so, open stretches are 2ft with the odd slightly bigger chop. There's two junky swells averaging 2ft or so. Some from the Sth and some from the E. When i say some - i mean chop. It is pretty uninspiring that is for sure. Give it a miss today.
