Surf Report Info

Region: Cronulla - Wanda to Cronulla

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Pretty Good

Arvo update - after a great morning of waves, the wind has taken the edge off a bit this arvo. Still fun 3-4 footers, but Nth wind a little into it now. - Earlier reports- Mid morning update - Just returned from a surf and can tell you I undercalled it a fraction this morning. Still plenty of solid 4ft plus bomb sets in the mix on open stretches. 3-4ft with the odd bigger set would be an accurate description. Swell direction is SSE, the wind is NW and the tide is rushing in. Nice morning conditions, but still just a little wishy washy. The Point, The Island, beaches and reefs all surfable options.- Earlier report - Smaller and cleaner this morning. Still a solid 3-4ft plus from the south and nice and inviting. Well worth an early surf. The banks look ok, and the tide will push in quick. Well worth an early with offshore W winds and much cleaner, smoother beachies to be had.

...... Check out the Father's Day Special on Coastalwatch. A gift to stoke every surfing dad.
