Surf Report Info

Region: Cronulla - Wanda to Cronulla

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Pretty Good

Arvo update Steady onshore NE wind now. 2ft at Wanda and Nth Cron, but winds into it and tides too low. May improve slightly towards dark. - Earlier report - Nice conditions this morning with sunshine, light offshore NW winds and around 2ft of clean, south swell. In fact there are two swells in the mix, some longer period south and some localised SE. The combo is producing some fun 2 to 2.5ft waves on the beaches. The wind is light NW early, forecast to tend NE later. Hit it this morning on the incoming tide and enjoy some small, rip bowls. Try Nth Cron, The Wall, Elouera or Wanda.
