Surf Report Info

Region: Cronulla - Wanda to Cronulla

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Pretty Good

The good news is that as per forecast there has been a little increase in Easterly pulse overnight. There are plenty of 2-3ft waves about this morning. The early problem is that the tide is a bit low early, so there's quite a few close outs about. However as the tide pushes in over the banks we can expect a general improvement in surf conditions. I suspect mid morning will be the pick for boardriders with a push in tide and before the forecast NE winds kick. Try Nth Cronulla, The Wall, Elouera or Wanda.
