Surf Report Info

Region: Cronulla - Wanda to Cronulla

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Average

Lunchtime - Still sunny, still offshore and kind of fun with 2-3ft sets at Wanda/Hills.Smaller wave at The Alley. The wind is forecast to go gale, but still manageable for sure. It was a fun morning and it is still holding, but may go ballistic later. - Earlier report - Small and undersized 2ft max this morning with cool, though light offshore W winds. The forecast however is for freshening SW and then gale force SW/S winds later this afternoon. Sth swell will build this afternoon, but it will obviously be wind effected. Small waves early at Wanda and The Alley.
