Surf Report Info

Region: Lennox Head Beach to Evans Head

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Average

An uneven ESE swell in the 3ft range this morning with light W winds early. It's low tide early so the points and S corners are the best bet first up. Be aware that there have been multiple Great White sightings over the past few weeks that have caused the Ballina Shire beaches to be closed, so check it out before you go. High tide is just after noon and the low is at 6pm this afternoon.
