Surf Report Info

Region: Lennox Head Beach to Evans Head

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Excellent

It's bigger today after yesterdays early pulse dropped off in the afternoon with clean 3-5ft on the open beaches and looking good early. The winds are light NW early and are expected to get stronger from the North later this afternoon. Best waves are early at the South swell magnets and open beaches before the wind swing. Later try the Northern corners for some cleaner faces. .High tide is at 10.41am this morning and the low is at 4.20pm this afternoon.
