Surf Report Info

Region: Lennox Head Beach to Evans Head

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Average

The swell is 3ft and clean with some bigger sets early this morning. Conditions are very clean with a light West wind offering lots of options to get a good wave today. The wind is forecast to stay light and variable all day. A pulse in the swell is expected around lunchtime which is predicted to increase wave size up to 4-5ft. Tides today are low at 10.02am and hiigh at 4.16pm, the incoming tide will improve conditions as the swell increases. Try the open beaches and Southern corners.
