Surf Report Info

Region: Shoal Bay to Swansea

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Pretty Good

SE swell 3ft @ 11-12 second. WNW winds 12 knots. Favourable winds with some good looking waves at most locations, tide is on its way in which will open up a few of the high tide reefs later in the morning. Winds should remain from the W for the day so it is shaping up to be a good day for waves.

Morning of the Earth Surfboards

For some the modern short board will never make sense. To me there are elements of the past that are still viable today, when blended with all we have learnt in the past.

Check out Dripping Wet Manly and let their qualified staff help you get the most out of your next surfboard.

Weapon Surfboards

Over the past 8 years Weapon Surfboards has established itself solidly amongst the hub of Northern Beaches breaks.

Sculpt Surfboards

Since launching in 2013, Sculpt Surfboards has made a huge impact on the Australian East Coat, particularly with local board riders along the Northern Beaches of Sydney.

MG Surfboards

Mauricio Gil has been intrigued by the art of making surfboards almost as long as he has been a surfer.
