Surf Report Info

Region: Bondi Beach to Maroubra

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Average

Smaller than yesterday, but still some small, rideable and clean little waves about. Water surface conditions are nice and smooth, with light offshore NW winds early. Expect freshening NE seabreezes later, so try and surf this morning as the tide trickles in over the banks in the next few hours.Maroubra and Sth Bondi the pick. Tama is surfable before and after they put up and take down the flags. Bondi will be most sheltered from the NE seabreeze later.Make sure you are armed with a board with extra volume today.
