Surf Report Info
Region: Palm Beach to Manly - Fairy Bower
Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

Update. Swell through morning ramped a bit with a few 5footers at some exposed spots. Winds now edged S and comes and and goes with still odd 4ft set more protected S ends.Morning Report: Waves 3-4ft, Swell E/SSE @8 sec, Winds WSW-SW-SSW 12-20 knots. Oceans getting west wind treatment ironing out bumps, adding form. Swells got a few E/SSE angles but mainly SE with size a very workable 3-4ft as most beaches get a share with bigger sets at more exposed spots. Some banks responding well to swells peaky nature and we finally have fun waves again. Into the arvo maybe some additional SSE size as winds edge n build SW>SSW. Give open beaches a look through morning then maybe more protected S ends later.
Wind: WSW 10-20 kts

Wind: S 20-30 kts
