Surf Report Info

Region: Palm Cove to Bulcock Beach

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Poor

Small and clean this morning after the S change, but there's only 1ft of E swell with the occasional 2ft'er on the open beaches. The winds are light SW early, forecast to go SSE later and the tide coming into a high just before 11am. Just some very small ones all along the S protected stretches early on the highest volume board you've got. Let's hope the incoming tide gives it a bit of push.
