Surf Report Info

Region: Palm Cove to Bulcock Beach

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Pretty Good

The swell is a bit uneven on the open beaches out of the SE in the 2-3ft range this morning with bigger ones on the more open beaches with fresh SSW winds early. It's smaller and cleaner in the S corners and strong SE winds are forecast later with high tide at 10.45 am and low just after 5pm. Once again the open beaches are messy with the S protected stretches the pick early with the SSW winds and the incoming tide. Later when the SE winds get up, try the E facing points and S corners.
