Surf Report Info

Region: Palm Cove to Bulcock Beach

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Average

More of the same with conditions small and clean early. The SE swell is in the 1 up to 2ft range on the more open beaches and only 1ft in the more sheltered breaks. Light offshore W winds early that are forecast to go SE later and the tide is high early, dropping to low at 11.45am. Once again there are small waves all along the E facing beaches early before the SE winds get up. Small ones on the E facing points and S corners later and take a high volume board.
