Surf Report Info

Region: Nth Stradbroke - Point Lookout to Cabarita Beach

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

Update. S winds showers and a tiny E swell that's around 1ft. D'bah and the points for a grovel this arvo. Early Report. Overcast with showers, light S winds early and the E swell is only small this morning in the 1 up to 2ft range. SE winds are forecast later and high tide at 8.40am with low just before 3pm. A few small ones early at D'bah and on the S end beachies and the points on the incoming tide, then later as the tide drops out later in the morning and the winds go around to the SE, the points will have some small ones and you'll need a high volume board.
