Surf Report Gold Coastby John Charlton
28/08/2014 6:23 AM | Report
Squally conditions with lots of showers and the SE swell has gone up a notch or 2. There is a lot of water moving around and it's in the 6-8ft range with bigger sets on the more open beaches and the winds are fresh from the S, forecast to go gale force S later and the tide is high at 9.43am, dropping to a low at 3.35pm. It's way too wild for the open beaches, it's the points that are the go again with very strong sweeps at Burleigh and Currumbin with from Snapper to Kirra the pick. For the experienced only.
