Surf Report Info

Region: Nth Stradbroke - Point Lookout to Cabarita Beach

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Poor

It's still very small this morning with the swell from the ESE only in the 1 ft range, it is a touch bigger on the Tweed Coast. The winds are SW early and are forecast to go strong S, then ESE later and the tide is low at 7 am with high just before 2pm. A few small ones on the Tweed Coast, D'bah and TOS early with tiny ones on the Goldie points also. Let's hope it picks up a bit on the incoming tide this morning.
