Surf Report Info

Region: Nth Stradbroke - Point Lookout to Cabarita Beach

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Pretty Good

Very similar to yesterday morning with small fun waves about early with light SSW winds and the E swell is in the 2 up to 3ft range. The winds are forecast to go around to the ESE this afternoon and high tide is at 10.40am with low just before 5pm. Early try on the incoming tide the points have some fun ones, then as the tide rises TOS, S end beachies and D'bah before the winds go around to the ESE. Let's hope the swell picks up a bit on the incoming tide.
