Surf Report Info

Region: Nth Stradbroke - Point Lookout to Cabarita Beach

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

Update. Conditions are really clean with light NW winds and the swell is small out to the E at around 1-2ft. and getting buried under the incoming tide. The winds are forecast to stay from the W all day and the tide is coming in to a high at 10am, with low just before 4pm. Small fun ones along the N end beachies and D'bah are the pick now. The swell will go around to the SSE later in the day.
