Surf Report Info

Region: Nth Stradbroke - Point Lookout to Cabarita Beach

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

The E swell is running out of steam and is only in the 1-2ft range this morning. Conditions are really clean early with light W winds that are forecast to go WSW, then SSE later this morning and high tide is early at 5.45am with low at noon. Early on high tide there are small ones all along the coast from D'bah to TOS and later as the tide drops and the winds go around to the SSE, there'll be very small ones on points. Take a high volume board.
