Surf Report Info

Region: Nth Stradbroke - Point Lookout to Cabarita Beach

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Average

Clean conditions early with light W winds and the swell is from the SE in the 2ft range and hopefully will build a bit more on the incoming tide this morning. SW winds are forecast later, but don't be surprised if they go NW and the tide is low early, coming in to a high just before noon. Try D'bah and some small ones on the points early on the low tide with small fun beachies all along the coast as the tide rises during the morning.
