Surf Report Info

Region: Nth Stradbroke - Point Lookout to Cabarita Beach

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Poor

Update. Another perfect winters day with only a small swell. It's only in the 1ft range from the ESE with some 2ft'ers on the more open beaches. Conditions are clean on the N end with NW winds and N winds on the S end and low tide is at 1.30pm. TOS, far N end beaches and the back beaches on the Tweed Coast for some very small ones on the highest volume board you've got.
