Regional Surf Report

Region: Palm Cove to Bulcock Beach

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

The swell is a bit messy from the E and is around 3-4ft, with some bigger sets on the more open beaches this morning and it has plenty of push behind it. The winds are SSW early, but unfortunately they're forecast to go onshore from the E later today and the tide is high early at just before 7am, dropping to a low just after 1pm. Get in early while conditions are clean with the beachies along the S stretches the pick with the early high tide. Noosa will be the pick later when the tide drops and the wind goes around to the E...Check out the new Depactus surf range in your local surf shop for Easter.
