Surf Report Info

Region: Palm Cove to Bulcock Beach

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Average

Another overcast morning and still there's not much wave action about again with the SSE swell not getting in onto the coast. It's in the 1 up to 2ft range on the open beaches and only 1ft in the protected S corners with light NW winds early. Light winds are forecast all day and low tide is at 10.31am, coming back in to a high just after 5pm. Just some very small ones along the open beaches early on the dropping tide for some ripple riding on the biggest board you've got .
