Surf Report Info

Region: Nth Stradbroke - Point Lookout to Cabarita Beach

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Poor

Update. The strong SW winds have blown the swerll almost flat with just the occasional 1ft'er from the E. It's really clean with the SW winds and should stay that way all day and the tide is coming off a high at 11.16am, with low at 4.44pm. It's almost flat with maybe some ripple riding all along the coast on the highest volume board you can get. It's clean but tiny.
