Surf Report Info

Region: Nth Stradbroke - Point Lookout to Cabarita Beach

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

Update. A great looking day with a few small, fun waves around. The swell from the SSE in the 1-2ft range, up to 3ft on the beaches that pick up more of the S swell and the winds are still out of the SSW, they're forecast to go S, then SE later and the tide is dropping to a low at 11.45am. There's more of the S swell at TOS, D'bah and the Tweed Coast and there are small fun ones on the points on the lower tide now.
