Update. Strong SSE winds are up now with the SSE swell in the 1-3ft range on the more open beaches and 1-2ft in the more sheltered areas. Strong SE winds are forecast later and the tide was low at 11.13am, coming in to a high at 5.48pm. The open beaches are wind affected, try the E facing points and S corners for some small ones this arvo on the incoming tide.

Swell: Southeasterly 1 to 1.5 metres, increasing to 1.5 to 2 metres offshore. Weather: Isolated thunderstorms offshore later this afternoon and evening.
