Surf Report Info

Region: Palm Cove to Bulcock Beach

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Poor

Great conditions again with light SW winds early, but it's still only small. The swell is from the ESE in the 1ft range with the odd bigger one and the winds are forecast to go around to the SSE, then the ESE later. It's low tide early at 7am, with high at 1.45pm. Just very small ones all along the open beaches early, try the S protected stretches later when the SSE winds get up. Take the biggest board you've got.
