Surf Report Info
Region: Nth Stradbroke - Point Lookout to Cabarita Beach
Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

Update. Strong SSE winds and the swell is only small. Try D'bah and the little ones on the points this arvo. Early Report. Strong S winds are in early, but there's still not much doing this morning with the swell small out of the ENE, only in the 1ft range with the occasional bigger ones. Strong S winds, going SE winds are forecast later and the tide is low at 6.40am with high at just before 1pm. There are very small ones on the points and at D'bah early on the lower tide and you'll need a board with plenty of volume.
