Surf Report Info

Region: Nth Stradbroke - Point Lookout to Cabarita Beach

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Poor

A great looking morning but unfortunately there's not much wave action happening. The NE swell from yesterday afternoon has swung to the E and dropped back to the 1ft mark. Conditions are super clean early with very light offshore winds that are forecast to go strong SSW later and the tide is low early with high at 12.45pm. Just very small ones all along the coast early on the incoming tide with a chance of some more swell from the S late in the day.
