Surf Report Info

Region: Palm Cove to Bulcock Beach

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Pretty Good

The E swell is still hanging in there in the 2 up to 3ft range and it's uneven this morning, but clean with light offshore winds early. The winds are forecast to go S later in the morning and the tide is high at just after 7am, dropping to a low just after 1pm. Try along the open beaches early on the high tide, then the E facing points and S corners later when the wind goes around to the S and the tide drops. Small fun ones in the outer bays at Noosa also on the dropping tide.
