Surf Report Info

Region: Palm Cove to Bulcock Beach

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Average

There's nothing to get excited about this morning with just a few small ones about early. The SSE swell is the 2ft range on the open beaches and only 1ft in the protected S corners with fresh SSW winds early. They're forecast to go light SE later in the morning and the tide is low just before 9am, coming back in to a high at 3.14pm. The more open beaches are a bit wind affected, with cleaner conditions on the S protected stretches early. Later check the points and S corners as they are predicting an increase in S swell.
