Surf Report Info

Region: Nth Stradbroke - Point Lookout to Cabarita Beach

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Pretty Good

The run of small E swell continues with it in the 2 up to 3ft range this morning and it's a bit uneven, but clean with light SW winds early . The winds are forecast to be light SSE later with the tide high just before 7am and low at around 12.45pm, Waves all along the coast early on high tide where ever you can find a bank, then small fun ones on the points as the tide drops during the morning and the winds go around to the SSE.
