Surf Report Info

Region: Nth Stradbroke - Point Lookout to Cabarita Beach

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

More of the same with not a whole lot going on this morning. The swell is only small out of the SE in the 1 to 2ft range on the beaches that catch the S swell and only around 1ft on the more sheltered breaks with light SSW winds early, they're forecast to go SSE, then light SE later and the tide is low early at 6.15am, with high at 12.10pm. Once again the Tweed Coast, D'bah and TOS are a bit bigger and are the pick early with tiny ones on the points on the incoming tide this morning. Take a high volume board.
