Surf Report Info

Region: Nth Stradbroke - Point Lookout to Cabarita Beach

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Average

Update. A perfect winters day as the run of very small swell continues with it in the 1-2ft range from the ESE on the more open beaches and a bit smaller on the points. Conditions are still really clean with light winds out of the S now, they're forecast to go light and variable SE and the tide is dropping to a low at 12.30pm. Once again there's a bit more of the swell at TOS, D'bah and the Tweed Coast and there are small ones on the points on the dropping tide.
