Surf Report Info

Region: Nth Stradbroke - Point Lookout to Cabarita Beach

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

Update. The winds are out of the ESE now and the swell is small at 1-2ft. There are some very small ones at D'bah and the S end points on a high volume board. Early Report. A S change came through overnight and the E swell smaller again and clean in the 1 up to 2ft range this morning. The winds are light SSW early and are forecast to pick up from the SE later. Small waves all along the coast early on the dropping tide before the winds pick up from the SE, then small ones on the points later and take a high volume board.
