Surf Report Info

Region: Nth Stradbroke - Point Lookout to Cabarita Beach

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Poor

Update. Great day, but it's flat with light onshore winds now, forget it. Early Report. It's still looking like Lake Pacific this morning with only up to 1ft of ESE swell with light SW winds early. SSE winds, going Light E are forecast later with the tide dropping to a low just before 9am, high will be at 3.10pm . There is a fraction more swell on the Tweed Coast, D'bah and TOS but it is still very small. Early there are tiny ones all along the coast on the biggest board you can get. Once again it's ripple riding only.
