Surf Report Info

Region: Nth Stradbroke - Point Lookout to Cabarita Beach

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

Update. A sea breeze from the ENE is up now and the S swell is still in the 1-3ft range on the more open beaches. Tomorrow morning should be fun. Early Report. The swell is has pick up a touch from the S, but is still small out of the SE in the 1 up to 2ft range, but up to 2-3ft on the more open beaches. Conditions are clean early with light S winds, they're forecast to go WSW later and the tide is low early with high at noon. There's more swell on the Tweed Coast, D'bah and TOS and they are the pick early with small ones on the points.
