Surf Report Info

Region: Nth Stradbroke - Point Lookout to Cabarita Beach

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Poor

Update. Fresh NNW winds now and the ENE wind swell is messy in the 1-2ft range now. Far N end beachies are best chance. Early Report. It is not looking very appealing this morning with an ENE swell that is barely up to 1ft max on the sets and NW winds early. They're forecast to go strong N later in the day and high tide is at 7am with low just before 1pm. Ripple riding again along the N end beachies and D'bah early on the high tide before the strong N winds get up.
