Surf Report Info

Region: Palm Cove to Bulcock Beach

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Average

The run of small waves continues with light NNW winds early and the swell is from the E and only in the 1 up to 2ft range on the sets. A S change is not far off with the winds forecast to go SW, then SE later this morning and low tide is just after 10am, with high at 3.20pm. Small ones in the N protected corners at Sunshine, Yaroomba, Kawana and Kings early. E facing points and S corners later after the S change and take a high volume board as the swell is lacking punch.
