Surf Report Info

Region: Palm Cove to Bulcock Beach

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Pretty Good

The swell is hanging in there from the E in the 2 up to 3ft range on the more open beaches and 1-2ft in the more sheltered beaches and it's uneven this morning. The winds are light SW early, they're forecast to go ESE again later and the tide is high early at 6.30am, dropping to a low at 12.30pm. The S protected stretches and E facing points early on the dropping tide before the ESE winds get up. Fun ones in the outer bays at Noosa also on the dropping tide.
