Surf Report Info

Region: Palm Cove to Bulcock Beach

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Average

The run of tiny conditions continues with a small E swell about that's only in the 1 up to 2ft range on the open beaches and only 1ft in the more sheltered zones with light NW winds early. The winds are forecast to stay from the NW later in the day and the tide is high early at 6.10am, dropping to a low at 12.22pm. There are some small ones along the open beaches that pick up more of the S swell early on the dropping tide on the biggest board you've got. From Peregian to A Bay will be picking a touch more swell.
