Surf Report Info

Region: Nth Stradbroke - Point Lookout to Cabarita Beach

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Poor

It's looking a lot like Lake Pacific this morning with the ESE swell smaller and only in the 1ft max range on the more open beaches. The winds are very light light SW early and they're forecast to strengthen from the SW with a sea breeze later in the day and low tide is at 10.25am with high at 5pm. Tiny ones all along the coast with the Tweed Coast, D'bah and TOS a touch bigger. A high volume board neede for some ripple riding.
