Surf Report Info

Region: Nth Stradbroke - Point Lookout to Cabarita Beach

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Poor

Update. NNE winds are in now and it's starting to cloud over. Forget super small and onshore. Early Report. There's is not a lot going on with very light offshore SW winds this morning and the NE swell is only small in the 1 up to 2ft range occasionally. The winds are forecast to increase from the NE later and high tide is just before 9am. There's definitely nothing to get excited about with just a few small ones all along the coast on the incoming tide before the winds go onshore from the NE.
