Surf Report Info

Region: Nth Stradbroke - Point Lookout to Cabarita Beach

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Pretty Good

Fresh SSW winds early and the SSE swell is in 2ft. range, up to 3ft in the beaches that pick up more of the S swell. The winds are predicted to get stronger from the SSE, then back off later in the day and the tide is coming in to a high at around 9.45am, dropping to a low around 3.30pm. The Tweed Coast points, D'bah and TOS are bigger with some small ones on the Goldie points and S end beachies also.
