Surf Report Info

Region: Nth Stradbroke - Point Lookout to Cabarita Beach

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Good

Cleaner conditions with light SSW winds early this morning and the swell is a touch uneven from the E in the 2 up to 3ft range on the sets. SSE winds are forecast later and the tide is high early at 5.30am with low at 11.50am. Once again the points are by far the best value this morning and should improve more on the dropping tide. D'bah and TOS are also worth a look early on high tide.
