Surf Report Info

Region: Margaret River to Smiths - Yallingup

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Poor

Sunday; Onshore conditions in the cape to cape region with 8-10ft waves showing at exposed locations. Wind is out of the SW at 15-20kts but the strength is fluctuating with passing showers. Looking messy at exposed locations whilst the protected spots are a little cleaner, they're still showing some bump. Naturaliste swell buoy W-SW 3.7m @ 13sec and it's on the up. Expect the wind to stay in a W-SW flow
